Colouring Le Doc & Guys

Some of the tryouts done after looking up different artists and their styles.

I liked how this style looks on everything except the dress.

This is closer to the style I had been using in previous comics.

I was trying out some of the artistic brushes in Pixelmator.

Colouring

I'm trying to figure out new ways of colouring since I want to try making the next LAME webcomics with some color. So I've been working on a few tests, after browsing different artists' styles, there's so much talent out there I feel discouraged sometimes. Anyway, here are some of the things I browsed and decided to put in a small collage to use for reference.

Acrylic Lion

I wanted to try painting with acrylic. Took this old sketch of a lion and tried on this one.

Then I added some ink because it otherwise looked like paint barf.

Doggie Calendar

Grabbed last year's doggie calendar and started sketching.
