Doodle Notebook

I have an old notebook where I've been pasting cut outs of doodles done in school notebooks. Some of these doodles go all the way back to 2000 when I was 12 years old in junior highschool.

LeAster Under Attack

Taking the crash course of Stencyl for making a space invaders type game. Here's the animation for the ship in flying mode.
I however ran into a small problem because the images don't have the same dimensions, and stencyl only divides the animation set equally so inside the game the ship gets cut off in some frames. I'll have to get around to fixing that later.

Models and Moons

I stumbled upon this page that listed 10 beautiful moons in our solar system. I want to make quick sketches of the moon as women. It'll serve for figure practice and maybe even color training. Here's the first one.
This was the original idea of the pose I thought of. But I saw it wasn't working out the way I wanted. So I started browsing photos on pixelovely and found this one.
I started tweaking it to get something closer to what I wanted originally.

I've been doing this in Pixelmator since GIMP's newest version kind of annoys me, I miss the previous version; I guess I just need more practicing to start liking the new one.
I later began to get carried away with thinking on whether I'd dress the Moons or simply use the moon colors for the models' skins. That then made me start thinking of model-like poses in case I decide to make up some outfits inspired in these moons.

Also considered making the clothes in plus model versions.

Blender Wrist Watch

So I finally got around to moving around in Blender. I started off by using this tutorial on making a watch. That's a screenshot of the rendered model so far. The interface is rather different from what I'm used to in Maya, still with this exercise I feel like I'm slowly starting to get the hang of it.
I'm still not too sure of what I'm doing with the textures and materials. Here are some samples.

Stencyl Training

I'm trying to learn how to you Stencyl. I started by trying to make a simple ping-pong like game, and I'm already bumping around errors and bugs I don't understand completely why they happen. Here's a small recording of what I managed to do.
I'm thinking of trying one of the crash courses they offer where they show how to make a Space Invaders style game. I hope I get to learn a bit more with it.

Silk

Stumbled Upon this page that draws with vertical and four way symmetry. It's pretty nifty and sometimes I could see figures that could maybe help with sketching ideas.

Pixel Goodies

Pixelized version of LeGoodies, done in an effort to make it buildable through tiles. Done with Pixen.

Secret Santa Sketches

Something I'm trying to work on as part of a Secret Santa thingie at the DisneyDreamers group on DeviantArt. I have a hard time coming up with poses and the like.
