Mansion Inheritance

The courtyard and fountain were littered with dry leaves and twigs. To the left side there was a corridor with several doors, openings and niches. First there was a small room, 60x60cm wide in the corner, a dark gray cat was sitting in one of its corners and it looked up at me with its yellow eyes when I peeked into the room. Down the same corridor was a niche with a sculpture of a carved man. On the corridor on the right was a painting of an old lady hanging on the wall. She wore a black dress with a dark green brooch on the high neck, and she was standing with both hands holding a dark cane. Her hair was light gray and tied into a bun. She would move her head, following me with her squinting eyes as I walked by. There was another door leading to a room but I didn’t go through.

Dream Sketches - Apocalyptic Colossi

In a faraway beach a huge tidal wave broke out, it was big enough to stretch out and cover the whole world. All of humanity had only a few hours of existence, except for a selected few. In different parts of the planet elemental colossi began to awake. A large group of people on retreat in the woods witnessed how an earthy giant grew out from the ground, tall trees seemed like horns and spikes on its back. It walked around, crushing people and destroying their cabins and vehicles. Only three humans were spared but they remained clueless to the reason.
 

In the mountains, explorers and geologists were caught inside caves or buried in landslides as another elemental colossus awoke. Its body was a fiery red color, and lava dripped off its back and face. 

These things were being repeated all around the world, when the wave came crashing the cities, the people who had been spared by the colossus survived the water as well by climbing onto the giants and watching the destruction. They later found out they each had some sort of connection to the colossus that had spared them. The people that climbed onto the lava colossus for example didn’t get burned or hurt by the element.
After the whole world had been drowned, the colossi just roamed around, carrying the remaining humans on their backs.
